What Actually Happens During a Shoot?

Okay, but what actually happens? Great question.

First, we shake off the nerves. It’s normal to feel a little weird at first. I’ll probably make some joke about how everyone forgets how to walk when a camera is pointed at them (because they do). Then, we just start moving.

I’ll throw out some fun, casual prompts. Stuff like, “Walk towards me like you’re heading to your favorite coffee shop” or “Whisper the worst pickup line you can think of.” And suddenly, you’re laughing, the nerves disappear, and the most natural moments unfold.

And if you need to stand still for a second? We keep things loose. Maybe you lean into each other, maybe you just breathe for a second. But I promise, no too much of the awkward, mannequin-like posing is happening.
